Revionics’ Lead Scientists and Engineers will be presenting the following subject matter on Tuesday, October 16, 2012, at 8:00 a.m. – 9:30 a.m. (PST)
- Jeff Moore, Revionics Chief Science Officer, and Craig Morris, Revionics Lead Software Architect, will be co-presenting on: “Grid Computing in the Software as a Service (SaaS) Environment” – This session will cover lessons learned in building, running and maintaining a grid environment for optimization applications in a federated, multi-customer SaaS environment.
- Cem Vardar, Revionics Senior Optimization Scientist, will be presenting on: “Using Unit and Integration Tests for Developing High Quality Optimization Software” – This session will cover examples of how automated unit and integration testing is being used at Revionics in the development of highly utilized operations research software. Real world examples will include automated tests from an inventory allocation problem and a demand forecast modeling algorithm used in a price optimization setting.
