William Tarvainen Shares Benefit of Front-Line Roles in Marketing and Price Optimization with Students at His Alma Mater
AUSTIN, TX – (October 26, 2015) – Revionics, Inc., a global provider of End-to-End Merchandise Optimization solutions, today announced EMEA Senior Price Strategist William Tarvainen will deliver guest lectures to students in marketing and management at Cass Business School at City University London, where he earned his BSc Business Studies before successfully pursuing his Master’s degree at Cambridge and subsequently embarking on a career that led him to Revionics.
The students, taught by Dr. Ammara Mahmood and Dr. Sven Molner, are enrolled in MSc Marketing Strategy & Innovation and MSc Management postgraduate courses at Cass. Following on academic introductions to approaches to pricing and price strategy, Tarvainen’s sessions on 29 October and 9 November will give students insights gained from his 5+ years as a hands-on strategic price consultant. As a consultant to a broad range of retailers, Tarvainen has advised companies across consumer industries, and was brought in by private equity house Terra Firma to build an in-house pricing organisation at the UK’s largest garden retailer, Wyevale Garden Centres.
